Bullet swaging die sets that are in stock and can be shipped now are listed below. There may be one set in stock or more than one. These are first come, first served so who-ever places an order first gets the set. The caliber and type of set (type of bullet made) will change now and then so if you don’t see what you want it may be there later. Complete die sets are usually listed. Individual dies may be ordered.

All dies and accessories are for the Walnut Hill press or other presses made by RCE, LLC. No other types of dies will be stocked or made.

355 Lead Bullet Die

355 LB Die

A single die that makes a lead .355″ bullet with a flat base. The bullet is a semi-wadcutter (SWC) style that has a step where the ogive and bearing meet. Two nose forming punches are included to make a round nose bullet and a short Keith style shape. A hollow point punch is included. A bullet is made with each press stroke and excess lead is bled off through a hole in the side of the die.

One-half or three-quarter jacketed bullets can be made or a gas check can be swaged onto the bullets base.

375 1E Set

375 caliber flat base, open tip bullet.

The 1E round nose ogive is about .375″ long. Good hunting bullet for most game. Typically a shorter range bullet but effective out to around 200 yards.

Two flat base, open tip bullets made using copper tubing jackets. The shorter bullet is 15/16″ long and weighs 230 grains. The longer bullet is 1 1.8″ long and weighs 330 grains. The soft point bullet is made from a 5.56 cartridge case and weighs 250 grains.

A die set to make a pure lead .400″ diameter lead bullet with a flat base. The set has nose forming punches to make a Keith style and a round nose bullet. A hollow point punch is included to make hollow point bullets. Gas check bullets, 1/2 jacketed, and 3/4 jacketed bullets can also be made. If using short jackets be sure that some lead is exposed beyond the jacket mouth to avoid crushing the jacket as the core is seated. Fits and functions only with any RCE, LLC press.

410 Lead Bullet Set

A die set to make a pure lead .410″ diameter lead bullet with a flat base. The set has nose forming punches to make a Keith style and a round nose bullet. 416 Die Set

Three die set to make a 416 flat base bullet with a 4S (spitzer) ogive. Includes a core swage die to make pure lead cores for copper tubing jackets or jackets made using fired cartridge cases. Also included is a core seat die with two punches to fit jackets made from 30-30 cartridge cases and the point forming die. Other jackets can be used but may require additional seating punches. The photo shows a core seated close to the jacket mouth to make the lead tip bullet next to it. Then a core seated more deeply in the jacket and an open tip bullet. The last bullet is a flush tip with the core at the mouth of the jacket. The dies will fit any press made by RCE, LLC but no others.

442 Paper Patched Die Set

Die set to make a paper patched bullet for 458 caliber rifles. The set has a core swage die and a 1 1/8E point form die to make a round nose bullet with an ogive that is about 7/16″ long. The set can make flat base and cup base bullets. The core swage die makes a .430″ pure lead flat ended core or a core with a flat & cup end. The core swage die could be used to make 44 caliber lead bullets with the additon of nose forming punches. Patching paper that is .002″ thick would be best if two wraps are used on the bullet. The bullet is for rifles that are not throated which is how most original target rifles and many relicas are made. The dies will fit and work in any press made by RCE, LLC but no others. A 500 grain cup base bullet is in the upper right corner of the photo.

Single die to make a lead .454″ bullet with a flat base. Proper diameter for the older 45 Long Colt as it used to be called. Newer handguns may need a .452″ bullet. Makes a semi-wadcutter (SWC) style bullet that has a step where the ogive and bearing meet. Two nose forming punches are included. One makes a 3/4E round nose and the other a Keith style nose. Hollow points can be made. 180 grain to 250 grain or heavier bullets. The die bleeds off excess lead through a hole in the side of the die to control the bullet weight. Use with any press made by RCE, LLC but no others.

Nose forming punches to make a 1EFN and 1E Round Nose. Hollow points can be made. The 1E and 1EFN bullets are for the various old 50 calilber rifles that use the .512″ bullet as well as more modern cartridges. The die bleeds off excess lead through a hole in the side of the die to control the bullet weight.

One half or three-quarter jacketed bullets can also be made.

475 Rifle Set

475 caliber rifle die set.

Makes a flat base open tip, hollow point, and solid lead tip bullets. Core swage, core seat, and point form dies. The ogive is a 1 1/4E round nose. Makes open tip, soft points, and flush tip bullets. Use commercial drawn jackets or redrawn 40 S&W cartridge cases.

Good bullet for the 475 A & M magnum, 475 #2 Nitro Express, 475 Weatherby, or similar cartridges.
